We are the official charity for the Great North Children’s Hospital – supporting the many children and their families who come to the hospital for treatment and care, making their experience the best it can possibly be.
Hospitals can often be a scary place, but thanks to our generous supporters and fundraisers we fund a range of projects to help make the hospital more welcoming for children, dedicated to supporting their needs.
We also help fund life-changing research, cutting-edge equipment and technology so the clinical and research teams at the Great North Children’s Hospital can deliver better care to their patients.
About The Great North Children’s Hospital
The Great North Children’s Hospital is one of the largest children’s hospitals in the UK. Thousands of children and young people from across the North East and Cumbria and beyond benefit from the specialist services provided here.
Part of the Royal Victoria Infirmary, The Great North Children’s Hospital has 245 beds and has the most extensive range of children’s services outside of London, including allergy, respiratory, orthopaedics, cardiology and cancer services. As an internationally leading research centre, clinicians work side by side with research staff to continually improve treatments for all childhood diseases.
