Ways to give
There are many ways to donate and support the Great North Children’s Hospital (GNCH).
We work with staff, patients and visitors to identify areas of the hospital that are of importance to them so we can allocate funds to help make their requests become a reality.
It can be something small like a mural on a wall or something bigger like a sensory room. Our main is to help provide play opportunities and distraction for our patients who might be visiting us for the first time or perhaps be in for a longer stay.
Either way we want to make our patients as comfortable as possible during their stay which can be a very difficult time for children and their loved ones.
Every Step campaign
Every Step highlights the crucial support that the Great North Children’s Hospital provides to children and their families throughout the entire hospital journey – from diagnosis, treatment, and recovery to the ongoing care and emotional support after discharge.
The campaign emphasises how the hospital is there for patients and families, every step of the way so they feel supported, no matter where they are in their journey.
