How the Business Club works

The Business Club is a low cost, philanthropic members club for businesses to support their community by supporting our charity.

You can join for as little as £10 per month and receive a framed certificate, banner for your website, personalised email banner and your logo on our website – boosting your profile while giving back to your community.

You can then choose to move up from a member to a Hero or even a Superhero member by getting involved in our events and campaigns, helping to raise important funds that make a transformative difference to people’s lives.

Become a business club hero

We encourage members to fundraise for us, either through our organised events or your own activities.

Small club members who raise between £250 and £1,250 in a year will receive hero status and can rise to superhero status if you raise over £1,500.

For larger club members the goal is to raise between £500 and £2500 to be our heroes or over £2500 and become a superhero.

As part of the partnership, you will receive branded resources for sharing your status with your colleagues, customers and suppliers.

Businesses who raise the most funds will be our Superhero of the year and be celebrated across our channels!

How members fundraise

Think creatively and make it fun. Set staff challenges, ask customers or suppliers to join in – whether that’s sponsoring your staff to climb the stairs to your office 100 times, having a “bring and buy” sale, hosting a tea party or quiz – the possibilities are endless.

Our fundraising team will be on hand to provide all the advice and support needed, inviting members to take part in charity events throughout the year and steering members towards activities that best align with your business interests.

Payroll giving

Sign up to our Pennies from Heaven initiative to donate the pennies from your payslip to Newcastle Hospitals Charity. It will never cost you more than 99p per month but pennies make pounds when we join together.
