Join our team of runners

In 2025, we had over 400 people who chose to run for Newcastle Hospitals Charity – home of the Great North Children’s Hospital and the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

So whether you’re running in memory of a loved one, to say thank you for cancer treatment they have received, or simply as a challenge to get a little bit fitter – please consider running for us.

Our charity places for this year’s Great North Run have now sold out.

If you already have a place in the Great North Run 2026 and would like to raise funds for Newcastle Hospitals Charity, you can still join our team today by signing up as an own place runner.
