Throughout 2025/26, the art in hospitals environment strand of our programme has helped to deliver;

  • Integrated artworks by Arts Stop Studios placed in the new RVI Resident Doctors rooms for rest.
  • Diabetes Centre Newcastle commissioned site-specific artworks in the new Freeman space, through staff and patient engagement.
  • Photographs by artist Saya Rose Naruse are installed through the main corridor, Ward 18 Critical Care, RVI.
  • Supported development of artwork for Clinic E, CYP outpatients Freeman, in partnership with CHUF.
  • Commissioned bespoke artworks for new Ambulatory Care space in Northern Centre for Cancer Care, to be installed Summer 2026
  • Large donation of artworks secured for display across Northern Centre for Cancer Care, by well-regarded Newcastle-based artist and patient.
