Leaving a bequest to the Foundation in your will is a way of honouring a loved one – a partner, family member or friend perhaps, who has experienced cancer during their life.

The Foundation is fortunate to benefit from large donations from individuals who are passionate about making a difference and helping others. If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you.

Our communities are the ‘engine room’ of the Foundation. Committed volunteers who wish to make a difference, they are passionate and often in it for the long term. These fundraisers will bake, run the Great North Run, swim, walk, cycle, accept challenges or just simply donate.

They will galvanise their colleagues, friends and families to sponsor them, take part with them, or simply cheer them on.

Newcastle Hospitals Charity run annual campaigns that highlight a particular issue or event allowing people to fundraise with purpose. The Great North Run attracts many people who run to raise funds for us.

We also run one-off campaigns where we have a particular goal. The building of the Sir Bobby Robson Institute is the largest fundraising project the Foundation has ever had.
